Lenten Reflection

Something to reflect this Lent...

“...sin is really a very complex mystery.

It is essentially an offense against God,

but sin cannot hurt God in His inner being.

God is transcendent and cannot be harmed by the actions of His creatures.

Sin harms and hurts first and foremost the sinner.

And, it is here that God is wounded...”
